Doug Schlam has been appointed as the North America Sales Director for the global stage for defence interoperability ahead of the World Defence Show 2022 event.

Schlam will support the launch of World Defence Show and build the foundation for a world-class event – the newest and first fully integrated entrant to the global defence show circuit.

Schlam said, “For years, customers have asked me about events in Saudi Arabia and I am honoured to be working on World Defence Show as it becomes a key element for industry to drive defence innovation, while building relationships with local and global contacts. Through KSA’s Vision 2030, there is a huge opportunity to develop partnerships, joint ventures and of course local manufacturing which will provide for long-term ROI.”
