As India’s Covid situation worsens daily and with many routes closed India’s cargo business is struggling to keep up, our correspondent Neelam Mathews reports on the situation from New Delhi.

In a special report, Airports editor Chloe Greenbank looks into the murky world of wildlife smuggling. She meets the people who are fighting the global battle to end the illegal trade and with Africa a major source of illegal game, she looks at how air transport can help stem the flow.

In defence, Bahrain becomes the first nation across the emerging markets to order the AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter from Bell. While many of the air forces – particularly in the Middle East- are more familiar with Boeing’s Apache, we find out why Viper may be a good choice to keep the allies ready to fly.

Technology editor Steve Nichols looks into a test underway with Panasonic to see how passengers with unlimited access to next-generation super fast wifi in the sky would use that access.

This plus news headlines from across Africa, Arabia and South Asia’s aerospace and defence businesses, from Marcelle Nethersole while host Alan Peaford shares the latest development straight from the site of next year’s major defence showcase, the World Defense Show.
