Salalah International Airport welcomes NordWind Airlines first direct charter flight from Russia
Salalah International Airport has welcomed its first direct charter flight from Moscow Russia, coinciding with the beginning of the winter season in Dhofar (Monsoon season); starting from October to April of each year.
NordWind Airlines is scheduled for two weekly direct flights' from Moscow to Salalah; arriving at 11:30 am on Monday the 15th of October 2018.
Salim bin Awadh al Yafei, deputy CEO of Salalah Airport said: “The airport has completed its preparations in cooperation with our strategic partners (Ministry of Tourism) to welcome Nordwind Airlines. Our preparations are in line with the plans to receive more than 5,400 tourists from Russia to Dhofar during the winter tourism season, making it the first charter flight from Moscow.”
