New beginnings for Afghan baby girl born on Turkish Airlines evacuation flight
An Afghan mother fleeing Afghanistan via Dubai to the UK on a Turkish Airlines flight gave birth to a healthy baby girl while at an altitude of 33, 000 feet over Kuwaiti airspace on Saturday.

Turkish Airlines said in a statement that Soman Noori, 26, started having contractions during the evacuation flight destined for Birmingham, and gave birth to the little girl with assistance from the cabin crew.
