NAS to be a platinum sponsor at APEX Virtual Expo 2021

National Aviation Services (NAS), an airport services provider in emerging markets will play a key role as Platinum sponsor at APEX Virtual Expo 2021.


The FTE APEX Virtual Expo 2021 will champion bold new ideas, solutions, collaboration and innovation efforts to ensure industry recovery that makes air transport even stronger in the long-term.


Hassan El-Houry, Group CEO, NAS will participate in the panel discussion titled “Digital Health Passport Symposium - How does the travel sector now quickly scale the adoption of digital health passports?” which brings together first movers and key players in this space to discuss big lessons learned so far and their recommendations to the industry to ensure crucial fast progress. 


Rami Al-Haddad, Group CIO, NAS sheds light on all the digital health solutions developed by NAS in his OnDemand presentation - Restarting Global Travel with Digital Solutions. 

In the face of the pandemic NAS introduced three tech solutions that integrate transparent testing and vaccine data within the airline ecosystem. Working closely with government agencies and national carriers, NAS developed:

Medical Utility Network Accreditor (MUNA) - This patented blockchain technology connects labs in more than 45 high-risk cities with direct flights to Kuwait. By linking audited labs with airlines and airports in real time, MUNA helps communicate digitized COVID-19 test results with total data privacy.

KuwaitMosafer – This web platform facilitates quick and contactless processes for passengers traveling through Kuwait International Airport. This also assists health authorities gather travel information and related health data to help curb Covid-19 cases in the country.
