MEBA2012: Wallan founder slams Cessna
Saad Wallan, founder of the Wallan Group, has slammed Cessna for failing to support his business.
As the largest distributor of Cessna products in the region, Wallan had expected support with marketing the aircraft and helping to develop general aviation in the Gulf.
He said: “The manufacturer is not helping us at all. For example, with lobbying we are doing all the work ourselves.”
Wallan added: “We can’t even get enough demonstration flights to show our customers the products.”
He appealed to members of the Middle East Business Aviation Association Board to help galvanise OEMS into offering more regional support.
