Lufthansa flies many countries and destinations in the Middle East, and quickly restarted its flight operations during the difficult and challenging times of the Corona pandemic despite the travel restrictions. Currently, the Lufthansa Group Airlines are offering almost 80 flights per week to 13 destinations in the whole region from Egypt to the UAE.

“We are now even more pleased to once again be named best European carrier in the Middle East, “ said Heinrich Lange, senior director sales, Gulf and Pakistan, Lufthansa Group Airlines. “It is a great achievement that the magazines’ readers put us on the winner’s rostrum.  I believe our efforts in quickly resuming our operations as well as the early non-scheduled repatriation flights from several countries has enabled thousands of passengers to travel with a premium product to and from the Middle East, which is being rewarded with this prestigious award. Furthermore, in most challenging times, we have assured our valued customers in the Middle East that we are back and ready to welcome them on flights to Frankfurt and the world in comfort and safety.”
