Joramco wins surprise Lufthansa A340 work
Jordanian MRO provider Joramco – now 80% owned by Dubai's DAE – has won a surprise contract from German carrier Lufthansa.
Typically, Lufthansa uses its in-house maintenance specialist Lufthansa Technik, but has turned to the Amman operator to complete C-checks on two Airbus A340s.
According to Joramco the heavy checks will include cabin modifications.
Completion of both aircraft will be by the end of February, the company said.
