Gama’s expansion of its services at its Sharjah International Airport business aviation hub continues apace with the announcement of the award to Gama Support Services FZE (‘GSS FZE’) of UAE GCAA CAR Part 145 Approval, initially supporting Challenger and King Air operations.

Future investment by Gama at Sharjah International Airport includes the further development hangar facilities, additional maintenance approvals and an increase in the number of locally employed engineers, all headed by Oliver Walters, Gama’s Engineering Manager.

“We are delighted that the UAE GCAA has recognised Gama’s commitment to investing, supporting and growing business aviation services in the region,” said Dave Edwards, managing director, Gama Aviation FZE. “Our Sharjah FBO has established itself as a ‘stress-free’ gateway for business and private visitors to Sharjah, Dubai and the Northern Emirates and the first choice technical stop for business jet operators through the Middle East. I know our customers will appreciate the additional maintenance and management services we have been approved to provide.”
