Celebrating 90 years of the Irish aircraft registry with the Irish Aviation Authority, GainJet Ireland added to the celebrations with its recently acquired Embraer Lineage 1000 EJ-IOBN, being the first aircraft to be registered under the prestigious and brand new EJ Irish aircraft register.

“It is with great pride that we share with the Irish Aviation Authority, in their celebrating 90 years of the Irish aircraft register. With their support, we are now able to offer to aircraft owners worldwide an all in-house quick and professional EU register. With our partners, Jet Lease Finance established in Ireland, we are now able to provide a one-stop full turn key operational and finance solution for corporate jets   introduction into Europe NCC or Commercial environment,” explained GainJet Aviation Group CEO, Captain Ramsey Shaban.

Shaban adds: “In 2015 as part of our on-going strategic planning, we decided to establish our next AOC in Ireland and moved quickly with our professional team in Shannon headed by Ray Mills in achieving this goal. We received our Irish AOC in 2016. We also pursued with the IAA actively launching the EJ register to be used as a dedicated platform for corporate jets. We achieved this mile stone with IAA’s blessing on 16 October 2018. We now have 5 high end corporate jet on the Irish register. Besides the Lineage 1000E, we expect another two ultra-long jets to join the new EJ register before the year end.”

Gainjet Ireland, based at Shannon Airport, is a subsidiary AOC operation of GainJet Aviation Group. EJ-IOBN joins Gainjet Ireland’s growing fleet of Boeing, Gulfstream, Challenger and Citation aircraft in the worldwide executive aircraft market, in addition to a large selection of other vip aircraft within the group.

Ray Mills, GainJet Ireland’s CEO and Accountable Manager said: “It’s been an amazing year. We started at Shannon with three jets back in 2016. We chose Shannon because it is a strategically located European base that connects continents. Moreover, thanks to the growing IASC cluster, Shannon has become a major aviation hub for leasing companies and for Atlantic crossing traffic.”

Mills continued: “We have plans to take delivery of further jets before the end of the year. With the new EJ register in place, Gainjet Ireland now offers fast and efficient ‘In-House’ aircraft registry solutions for commercial and NCC corporate jets, based on EASA’s high standards, for Europe and Internationally. I think it’s fair to say that very exciting times lie ahead. Watch this space.”
