Flights to Tel Aviv to be diverted

Flights to Tel Aviv will be diverted over fear of rocket strikes as the country continues tensions with Hamas.

Israeli airport authorities announced on May 13, 2021 that planes will be diverted to Ramon Airport in Eilat, southern Israel.

The decision only affects flights landing at Ben-Gurion International Airport after fear aircraft maybe targeted by rocket attacks in the Israeli capital. However, private jets and freighters will still allowed to land.
