Etihad's inaugural service to Tel Aviv is in the air

The first commercial passenger flight from Abu Dhabi to Israel departed Abu Dhabi International Airport at 10.13am this morning, bound for Ben Gurion International Airport.

On board was Mohamed Al Khaja, the UAE’s first ambassador to Israel, Eitan Na’eh, head of mission at the Embassy of Israel in Abu Dhabi, and Tony Douglas, group chief executive at Etihad.

 

All passengers and crew on the first flight from Abu Dhabi to Israel are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
