Emirates resumes flights to Birmingham

Emirates has resumed flights for passengers between Birmingham Airport (BHX) and Dubai International Airport (DXB).

 

The inaugural flight landed at BHX at 11:51 BST, helping reconnect people and businesses in the Midlands to the 74 cities currently on Emirates’ growing network.

 

Richard Jewsbury, divisional vice president UK at Emirates said: “Our teams in Birmingham and Dubai are delighted to be resuming passenger flights, reconnecting the Midlands with Emirates’ global network. We have taken comprehensive steps to keep our passengers, colleagues and communities safe, and look forward to welcoming passengers once again.”
