Emirates Group marks Flag Day with flag-raising ceremony.  Emirates Group.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline & Group, raised the UAE flag with members of the Emirates team.

Hoisting the flag supports the call made by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai to entities across the UAE to raise the flag to symbolize the UAE's national pride, unity and its aspirations for the future.

His Highness said: "As we celebrate Flag Day across the UAE, we stand together to honour our symbol of unity, as we strive to build a strong and more prosperous nation. Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, our desire as an organisation to constantly improve and innovate together pushes us to do better, be resilient and achieve more. The Emirates Group remains as committed as ever to supporting the nation through this difficult period. At the same time, we celebrate the UAE's achievements and progress over the past year, like its support for the international community through the pandemic, and launching the 'Hope to Mars' probe. The UAE's optimism for the future is at the heart of who we are as a country, and together we are ready to overcome the challenges ahead."
