EgyptAir and Sudan Airways sign strategic partnership

EgyptAir and Sudan Airways have signed a strategic partnership MoU.

The partnership will enhance opportunities for trade exchange and activate aviation within the Egyptian government plan to support bilateral relations between the two countries and for the transfer of Egyptian expertise to the Sudanese side, especially in the field of civil aviation.

 

The MOU includes the Egyptian aviation training of Sudanese Airliner’s personnel in the fields of aircraft piloting and inflight cabin crew training, as well as participating in modernising the Sudan Airways fleet of aircraft, managing networks planning, developing maintenance and overhauling activities for Sudanese airliner and providing all advisory services in the fields of quality.

 

Technical accreditations, including ISO and TSO certification, in addition to developing services provided in the field of duty-free and inflight services, training Sudanese Airliner’s personnel in the field of aviation security, as well as developing ground services, providing equipment, qualification to obtain ISO certification, cooperation in the field of Cargo, and discussing other future cooperation aspects in order to keep pace with the increase in traffic volume, in a way that contributes to increasing the economic growth rates of the two national companies.
