EgyptAir and Air Cairo sign MoU

EgyptAir and Air Cairo have signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance strategic positioning, network and fleets that will add new customers to both airlines.

"We are delighted to announce signing the MoU between EgyptAir and Air Cairo coinciding with the 88th anniversary celebrations of the national carrier,” said Capt. Amr AbuElenin.

 

The MoU includes schedules coordination from/to Alexandria, Sharm El- Sheikh, HurghadaAssuit and Sohag airports as a first step to enhance the carriers’ participation in further serving the civil aviation sector.

 

Hussein Sherif, Air Cairo chairman added: "This partnership has a strategic and vital dimension to Air Cairo and its customers, and it represents a pioneer step in the airline's plan to expand its network and to provide its customers with unmatched travel experience whether in Egypt or beyond. The main goal of this partnership is to provide many facilities to Air Cairo and EgyptAir customers including interlining, code-sharing on the domestic flights of both airlines in addition to a number of international destinations."
