Air Arabia Abu Dhabi set for take-off next week

Abu Dhabi’s first low-cost airline – Air Arabia Abu Dhabi – will take off next Tuesday (July 14th) on its inaugural flight to Alexandria.

The new airline – a joint venture between Etihad and Sharjah’s Air Arabia - with two Airbus A320 in its fleet will also service a second Egyptian airport, Sohag from its new base at Abu Dhabi International Airport..
“We are delighted to announce the launch of the first flight of Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. While the global aviation sector continues to witness unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic, this step is a testament to the strength of the UAE aviation sector and our commitment to its long-term prospects,” said Adel Ali, Air Arabia’s group chief executive.
