The Vice President Cabin Services is appointed by the Accountable Manager and reports to the Director - Flight Operations (DFO), on cabin service standards; welfare and discipline of Cabin Crew and departmental budgeting matters. 
 
She/he is to liaise with the Director Flight Operations (DFO) on safety and operating standards and is to advise him of any Operations Manual amendments. 
 
She/he is to coordinate training and standard operating procedures with the Head of Training (HOT).
 
The VPCS is a Nominated Postholder in respect of his training responsibilities. 
 
The Cabin Crew Manager and Cabin Training Manager deputise for this position; advise the DFO on all cabin safety-related issues, develop all training programmes for the airline, especially where sub-contracted, and to ensure that these programmes are in accordance with the Cabin Crew Training Manual (Part D), along with the Cabin Crew Manager ensure that the cabin crew meet the company profile on recruitment, ensure that Cabin Service is carried out in accordance with company standards and that is maintained by regular audits and recurrent training, ensure that correct records are kept by the Cabin Crew Manager on cabin crew performance and that these records comply with legislation;
