We also supply material to customers making heavy electrical to micro-sensor ceramic and non-metallic and joints of dissimilar metals"

He adds: “From Dubai, VBC is developing its business through not only sale of materials, but also being able to assist customers in both existing work of cost savings and process improvement to developing new procedures and methods within the vacuum brazing sphere. Along with both nickel based and precious braze media, we have also begun to develop processes with customers for aluminium vacuum brazing, which although was rare in the past is now making a resurgence in specialist fields such as rocket propulsion systems. Aluminium vacuum brazing is very difficult in process and usually requires modified and dedicated vacuum furnace equipment, VBC can assist with the process and provide braze media.”

VBC is a supplier to several of the new aero engine MRO facilities supplying carriers in the Middle East, as well as the major MRO hubs repairing different types of engine including CFM, GE, Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney.

Little said: “Our business is growing because of the level of technical support we offer. Anyone can tell you a melting point or solidus temperature, but customers are working with VBC in the MENA region, India and Singapore on entire process development and improvement.  VBC is the only organisation in the area to offer this service alongside approved materials within the lead-times needed.”
