UAE aviation safety campaign has royal approval and will target the public

Aviation is a vital part of the UAE's economy and as part of engaging the whole country, the GCAA has taken a new initiative for its industry safety and security campaign 'Love your sky'.

And the initiative got royal approval as HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai and vice president of the UAE signed his name to the campaign ahead of next week’s launch.
The community engagement activity is running for three days at the Dubai Mall’s Atrium starting March 6th. It will spread awareness and useful tips about flight safety and security for air travellers - the central message behind the campaign . It will be highly visible and interactive stand that encourages people of all ages to engage with issues related to the sky safety and security in a fun and educating activities.
H.E Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, director general of GCAA said: “Building on the successful initiatives which Love Your Sky campaign has been running for three years, the Dubai Mall stand will take this campaign to a new level where everyone can actively participate and learn new tips on how to make their next flight safer and more secure.”
Aiming at raising awareness with the flight and passenger safety all over the UAE, Love Your Sky campaign focuses on a wide range of topics and issues that constantly face passengers and cause damage or disturbance whether to airports or carriers or passengers.
