Turkish answers the call for Middle East market

Turkish Airlines has launched a call centre to attract more Arabic speaking customers from ten Middle Eastern countries.

The call centre, launched at an Iftar awards event in Amman, Jordan yesterday, will be manned by 50 Arabic speaking employees.

It will serve customers in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.

Call Centre Manager Fatih Guvar said: “Turkish Airlines has a huge number of patrons in the Middle East and it has always been our motto to give them superior service.”

Turkish saw a 10% increase in customers in the first quarter of 2015.

The Istanbul-based airline claims that introducing Arabic speaking tele-callers will aid Turkish to maintain its five-year streak as ‘Europe’s Best Airline’.

Guvar continued, “we hope to take our service to even greater heights and cater to the Arabic speaking market like never before.”
