Chief executive Temel Kotil said that a first-phase opening of that greenfield airport – designed to accommodate 150 million passengers a year – is scheduled 2017, and Turkish will transfer 200 aircraft there.  He added that the airline will double its Sabiha Gokcen-based fleet to 100 aircraft.
