The Tawazun delegation, headed by Tawazun’s chief executive officer, H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri, comprises of representatives from six of Tawazun’s subsidiaries and the Tawazun Economic Council. The Group is participating under the UAE Pavilion - which is also hosting other national companies from the defense sector - and is showcasing their ‘Made in the UAE’ products and services to an international audience of Armed Forces and security agency personnel, Ministers of Defense, Secretaries of State and other senior security officials.

Defense automotive manufacturer, NIMR, is displaying its 6x6 armored vehicle. Military and sporting weapons producers, Caracal International and Tawazun Advanced Defense Systems (TADS), are displaying a range of modern pistols and long-range rifles, while Burkan and Caracal Light Ammunition (CLA) are exhibiting the various types of ammunition they manufacture at the Tawazun Industrial Park – a ‘plug and play’ facility located in Abu Dhabi. Tawazun Precision Industries (TPI), the manufacturing facility delivering components to the aerospace, oil & gas and defense industries, is presenting its own-branded products as well as its capabilities in producing and assembling components for UAE manufacturers, sister Tawazun Holding companies, and international industry names such as Airbus in the aerospace sector and US-based National Oilwell Varco in the oil & gas sector.

Al Hajeri said: “Eurosatory is a great opportunity for us to gain further access to world markets, to discover ongoing developments within the armed forces, get familiar with future systems and equipment and to identify changes in the global defense industrial landscape. By being at Eurosatory, Tawazun is showcasing the partnership opportunities available to international industry leaders here in the UAE and strengthening our existing partnerships with some of the world’s leading organizations that have helped us build skills, expertise, products and systems in the country.”
