TAI delivers first Bombardier C Series FTE

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), a subcontractor to Bombardier, has delivered its First C Series Fixed Trailing Edge (FTE) to Bombardier at a ceremony held at TAI's facilities in Ankara, Turkey, on August 19, 2014.

TAI assembled FTE will be integrated to wing in Belfast facilities and delivered to the final assembly line in Montreal, Canada.

VP & General manager of BA-Belfast Michael Ryan, Vice President of Supply Chain & Fabrications Stephen Cowan, TAI President and CEO Muharrem Dörtkaşlı, Senior Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Governance Bekir Ata Yılmaz and Executive VP of Aero Structure Naki Polat participated in the ceremony.

Once the programme reaches full rate production, TAI will support Bombardier wing assembly lines in Belfast by shipping ten FTE per month.
