The new Star Alliance Navigator App for Android, details of the wide-ranging Alliance services and benefits are now accessible at a touch of a button. Grouped into several categories, these include: 

Travel services 

Flight Search – browse the member carrier schedules of more than 21,900 daily flights to 1328 airports in 195 countries. 

Flight Status – Track any Star Alliance member airline flight. 

Lounge Finder – Details of the more than 1,000 Star Alliance and member airline lounges available worldwide 

Airport Information – Weather, City Guides, Lounges and member airlines serving

This section details the various benefits Star Alliance offers across its global network, such as Frequent Flyer Programme advantages and lounge access, as well as additional benefits for Gold Status customers. 

Explore 

Find all the necessary information on how far your travels on Star Alliance can take you from this single source, containing essential travel related information such as flight schedules, airport information, lounges and flight status.

Learn about each of our member airlines, from basic facts to contact numbers as well as images and videos. 

Technical information 

The app can be downloaded from the Star Alliance website at: About Star Alliance Mobile App on staralliance.com or directly from Google play at: Browse the Star Alliance Mobile App on Google Play.

It has been designed to run in Android 4.0 and above. Lower versions down to 2.3.3. will be supported, but might not provide the optimised experience. The initial version is designed for smartphones with the following resolutions: 480x800, 480x854, 800x1280, 1080x1920. 

The Star Alliance Navigator App is now available for both the Android and iOS operating systems. The Alliance originally launched its Navigator App for iPhone in 2011, followed by a bespoke App for the iPad in 2013. The introduction of a dedicated tablet App for Android is planned for later this year.
