Smart move takes DWC into the Cloud

Smartworld – a joint venture between the UAE telecoms provider Etisalat and the Dubai World Central aerotropolis - has selected Altitude Software, the omnichannel solutions provider, to launch the country's first Cloud Customer Engagement Solutions.

The Smartworld Cloud Customer Engagement solutions, which leverages the Altitude uCI solution, will enable UAE companies to focus on customer service while reducing costs and optimising resources. Hosted within Smartworld’s Dubai World Central data center, the customisable solutions can be up and running within a matter of hours with little to no capital investment. Contact Center operations are able to scale up or down based on demand, while optimising resources and saving time and money. 

"Today a vast majority of UAE contact centers are internal. There are large numbers of companies who are unwilling to outsource all, or part of, their customer relationships and want to keep control of them while not managing a call center's administrative constraints. It is this type of organization that we are targeting through this cloud-based solution, offering the same quality of service and performance while allowing companies to retain control of their customer relationships," says Mohammed Fouz, Smartworld’s CEO.
Smartworld has already successfully carried out deployment and implementation of ICT systems at Dubai International Al Maktoum International airports and a first-of-its-kind Open and Equal Access Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) at Dubai World Central.
