Sir Bani Yas Island - located 170 kilometres off the coast of Abu Dhabi City - is a desert island conservation housing over 13,000 animals, more the two hundred species of birds and fascinating marine life. In partnership with Anantara Hotels Resorts & Spas, Seawings is making this remote part of the United Arab Emirates a lot more accessible through various packaged and private charter Seaplane Safari options.

"We are delighted to be working with Seawings on the new and very exciting Seaplane Safaris to Sir Bani Yas Island. Our partnership, engineered with the assistance of the Tourism Development & Investment Company, offers something unique for visitors to the UAE and residents alike.

Accessibility to the island on the western coast of Abu Dhabi has never been easier from Dubai or the Capital, and makes discovering this treasured island and the hospitality from a choice of three distinctive Anantara Resorts all the more appealing," said Mr Wael Soueid, Area General Manager, Anantara Hotels Resorts & Spas.

The Seawings team announced Seaplane Safaris as a unique option for both local UAE residents and tourists to experience something different and outside of ordinary. Described as an "Out of Africa" experience, it's perfect for a long weekend away from the busy city. It's approximately one hour and ten minutes from Dubai by air, drastically cutting the travel time and providing amazing views of azure blue waters, pristine coastline and remote islands along the way.

On the launch of Seaplane Safari, the CEO of Seawings, Mr. Stuart Wheeler commented; "I have always felt that Seawings and Sir Bani Yas are a natural fit. We are very proud and privileged to have partnered with Anantara in this new service. Sir Bani Yas is a magical place with so much to offer and by making the island more accessible we hope to bring a lot more of this magic to the residents and visitors alike."
