The announcement was made yesterday by Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, director general of Saudia, where he stated the service will start in February.

“We have been steadily growing our presence and services in Saudi Arabia which reached to around 70% of our operation, Al Bayarq will bring additional flexibility for business passengers connecting from Jeddah to Riyadh,” said Al-Jasser.

Al Bayraq is designed to serve VIPs, businessmen and corporate and banking leaders, who frequently travel between Jeddah and Riyadh. It will provide travellers with luxury lounges, and the ability to arrive at the terminal with the minimum wait before their flight.
