Preparing to serve six countries on the Arabia Peninsula, SalamAir went live on January 31st, 2017, with an initial flight from Salalah International Airport to Muscat International Airport. The airline also commences international services to Dubai, UAE and as of April 16th, 2017, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. SalamAir plans to add Madinah to its flight schedule in the coming weeks, as well as to launch routes to the Pakistani cities of Multan, Sialkot and Karachi.

SalamAir is initially servicing the Omani airspace with three Airbus A320s and has plans to rapidly expand the fleet. The carrier aims to improve both domestic and regional travel options by providing affordable fares on underserviced and expensive routes, in turn boosting the country’s tourism industry. SalamAir is also proud to provide ample employment opportunities.

SalamAir CEO Francois Bouteiller said: “We chose Radixx as our partner because of its unparalleled hybrid distribution capabilities, and for the industry-leading ancillary revenue solutions the company provides. Carriers like ours are always looking for the most innovative ways to deliver top-quality service to passengers, while at the same time maximizing revenues. To this end, Radixx was the clear partner of choice.”
