The Jeddah-based MRO company reported this week that the overhaul had been carried out recently and had been successfully returned to service with the unnamed airline.

The overhaul involved hundreds of hours of dedicated engineering time. Nader Khalwi SAEI’s chief executive was the first one with the task of igniting and starting the overhauled APU. In a message to his team at the start-up he said this is just “the first step in strategic plan to overhaul many different APU for other types of aircraft.”

Khalawi went on to say these achievements won’t be accomplished without “our highly trained engineers and technicians, who have the passion to work hard to render SAEI as the most experienced MRO in MENA region.”
