The Jordanian Ambassador to Turkey, Amjad Adayleh, stressed the significance of operating the route between Amman and Ankara after ten years of suspension due to commercial reasons. He said that the flights will boost relations between the two countries and will serve the Jordanian and Arab communities living in Ankara and Anatolia in general.

The route will stimulate the bilateral commercial relations and tourism, added to catering for the demand of businessmen and students from both countries.

Head of sales and marketing at RJ Zaker Majali expressed hope that this station will back the RJ route network in the region, thus increasing traffic between Jordan and Turkey. The company is now operating 12 weekly flights between the two countries; nine to Istanbul and three to Ankara. The frequency of flights increases during the summer season and holidays.
