RJ and JALCo sign a maintenance agreement
RJ president and CEO Amer Hadidi and JALCo chairman Hatim Bashir signed the three-year contract at RJ’s headquarters.
Hadidi said: “RJ is pleased to partner with JALCo that was one day part of Royal Jordanian before separating out the five investment units from RJ in 2000, in preparation for privatisation. We have selected JALCo since it is a well reputable Jordanian maintenance, repair and overhaul company, in addition to the flexibility of being located next to the RJ hangars. JALCo is also known for its full capability on the CF6 engines.”
General manager JALCo Ziad Abu Ain added: “We assure Royal Jordanian that we will deliver them high-class services in the MRO industry, particularly that we have numerous and diverse approvals from prestigious competent authorities such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Civil Aviation Authority of The United Arab Emirates General (GCAA) and Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and last but not least the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).”
