Rizon Jet appoints technical services director

Rizon Jet has appointed Mike Clarke as director of technical services, based in Doha. Clarke joins the Qatar private aviation company from BBA Aviation, where he served for 18 years in progressively responsible positions culminating in his role as sales & marketing director for Sub Sahara Africa.

Previously, his sales and technical responsibilities covered the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Africa.

His new role gives him responsibility for the growth of the Rizon Jet technical services that currently include MRO and continuing airworthiness management organisation (CAMO) facilities in Doha and Biggin Hill in London.

Rizon Jet CEO, Capt Hassan Al-Mousawi, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mike to the team. Our technical services business is growing rapidly and Mike’s  experience and expertise will prove invaluable as we further develop this important arm of our business to deliver world class support. His appointment will enhance our seamless offering through both Doha and Biggin Hill, and  ensure a consistent level of quality service for our Middle Eastern customers in Europe, and our European customers in the Middle East.”

Rizon Jet’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division provides technical support for an array of aircraft types. Certification and approvals are being developed all the time, and currently cover a range of Bombardier and Hawker types.
