Regent Airways opens new route to Muscat

Oman Airports has announced that Bangladeshi private airline Regent Airways has started a new route to the Middle East and the first destination is Muscat.

Regent Airways will formally start the operation from Dhaka and Chittagong to Muscat on April 7, 2016.

The newly added aircraft Boeing 737-800 with 183 seats will fly on Muscat route, the fifth international route of Regent. 

Managing Director Mashruf Habib said that the dream and vision of Regent Airways is to be flying partner of the Bangladeshi expatriates worldwide. “We also try to make the travel on air routes more comfortable and cheaper. Following our success on prevailing international routes particularly Malaysia and Singapore, we have started a new air route to Middle East now”

Mashruf said that traveling of passengers from Bangladesh to Oman has significantly increased in the recent time as there are no such strict procedures to get VISA from Oman for the Bangladeshis. Subsequently, aviation business has increased on this route. “So, we have started the new route to Oman as the first destination to Middle East. We will also try to make the travel on the route with logical fare and most comfortable for our valuable passengers.“
