RAF Typhoon Team to perform at Bahrain Airshow

The Royal Air Force Typhoon Display Team will display daily at the show, with Flight Lieutenant Jamie Norris taking Eurofighter Typhoon to the skies once again following a fun-packed season showcasing its performance throughout 2013, with the most recent at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show.

These will be last public displays conducted by Jamie (above) for 2013.

The RAF will also display an RAF Typhoon parked outside the chalet for those wishing to take a closer look.

Silver sponsor BAE Systems will again be supporting the region’s defence forces through attendance at the three day Air Show, held at Sakhir Air Base, and Great British Week by showcasing its capabilities across the air sector, including a focus on the Typhoon as well as its Hawk trainer, with scale models of Typhoon, the Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer and the EJ200 engine.

The company will also have the interactive Typhoon Helmet (also known as the Helmet Mounted Symbology System) Demonstrator and the Eurofighter Typhoon Cockpit Simulator on display for visitors to explore. They will be providing briefings on their new Military Air & Information app and video (which both visualise what they do and how they do it).

Outside the Exhibitions hall will be a full scale replica of Typhoon on display, positioned close to a full scale static display of the WWII Supermarine Spitfire provided by the RAF Museum at Hendon.
