Qatar Airways CEO said airline no longer interested in CSeries

Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker has said the airline is no longer interested in ordering any CSeries jets as a result of the delays to the new single-aisle aircraft made by Bombardier, reports Reuters.

Announcing the news at Berlin’s ITB travel fair Al Baker said: "We have completely forgotten about it because you cannot wait indefinitely.” 

Al Baker also added that Qatar Airways would not be making any new orders for A380s within the next two years. 

"I have to see the performance, I need at least a couple of years to see what added benefit this aircraft has compared to the other types that we're operating," he said.
