Duties / Responsibilities             
Perform contract administration on behalf of the local Armed Forces to ensure that all contractual obligations are met. This position is responsible for overall program management including cost, risk, schedule, and technical management. Review and direct the performance of functional task elements including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics and administrative functions. Manage all actions related to contract baseline variations. Ensure that system user manuals are of the correct standard. Confirm or define system acceptance criteria in terms of the contact and witness all system evaluations so as to be able to perform equipment acceptance actions.

Overall project management, including functional elements such as engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.

Qualifications
BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, Bachelor of Commerce. Additional higher qualifications are preferred.
               
Experience
A minimum of ten years of experience in the field of Unmanned Systems or the Aerospace industry, while engaged in program management.
                               
               
Skills / Expertise
This position must have relevant experience in Aerospace and associated document lifecycle management mechanisms such as engineering, development, configuration quality assurance and logistics management. This position must also have a good understanding of aerial vehicles systems and subsystems. This position must be capable of managing system acceptance, system logistics and system operations aspects. Must have extensive experience in developing Unmanned System technical and programmatic requirement documents. A good knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9000 and DoD standards is required.
