Pegasus records first half growth in revenue, passengers and profit

Pegasus Airlines has announced its financial results for the first six months of 2015 with revenue growing by 9 per cent year-on-year to reach $500.34 million while simultaneously achieving an operational EBITDAR (profit before tax, interest, amortization and rent costs) of $43.8 million.

Pegasus carried 10.17 million passengers during the first half of 2015, translating to a year-on-year increase of 10%. Having recorded 125,156 block hours with its 64-strong fleet, Pegasus also achieved an average 78% overall load factor during this period.

During the first half of 2015, Pegasus Airlines added London Gatwick, Lyon, Milan – Malpensa, Nice, Oslo and Kutaisi to its growing network of international destinations, together with Kastamonu to its domestic network in Turkey, to reach a network of 91 scheduled destinations in 37 countries comprising of 31 domestic and 60 international destinations.
