Pegasus grew by 13.5% in the first five months of 2016

Pegasus Airlines has announced its traffic results for the first five months of 2016 through the Public Disclosure Forum (KAP).

Between January and May 2016, Pegasus increased its total number of guests by 13.5% year-on-year to 9.28 million. Pegasus also increased the number of flights it operates by 15.7% during the same period. 

Between January and May 2016, Pegasus carried 6.02 million guests on its internal routes within Turkey and 3.26 million guests on its international routes. Pegasus, who in the first five months of 2016 achieved an average load factor of 76.7%; also increased its daily aircraft utilisation by 1% to 12.2 hours.

In 2016 the airline added Jordan’s capital Amman and Azerbaijan’s Gabala to its network, increasing its number of destinations to 33 in Turkey and 70 in the rest of the world, bringing its total network to 103 destinations in 41 countries.
