The aircraft completions and MRO specialist has been selected by the Ministry of Defence of the Sultanate of Oman for the maintenance of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) ACJ320 fleet during the period 2011-2013.

This long-term contract includes C-checks for RAFO’s aircraft fleet.

“It is a honour for ACJC and a strong sign of confidence from the Ministry of Defence of Oman and RAFO, which has started with the sale and fitting of the first VIP Conversion Kit in 2010, and has been reinforced with the successful delivery of a provision kit at the beginning of September, ahead of contractual schedule”, said Bruno Galzin, ACJC Head of Sales & Marketing.

Meanwhile, the company has signed VVIP cabin completion contracts for the two Airbus ACJ319s ordered by  Aviation Link Company (ALC) of Saudi Arabia at NBAA earlier this week.

These two VVIP cabins will feature the highest level of comfort and the latest available communication and IFE systems including SatTV, Wi-Fi and Ipad remote controls.

The design of the cabins interior is handled by Francis Munch of Studio E/motions, making  full use of the extra space afforded by the Airbus ACJ319’s wide and tall cabin.

“ACJC is very well known to us through several projects over the past years” said Abdulaziz Al Rowaished, president and CEO of Aviation Link. “Major worldwide completion centres with a worldwide reputation in the market were invited to bid,’ he said.

Aviation Link will become the largest operator of Airbus corporate jets in the Middle East when it takes delivery next year.
