The Boeing 737-800 crashed at Rostov-on-Don airport early on March 19, killing all 62 people on board. The aircraft had been in a hold for around two hours waiting to make a second attempt at landing after the first attempt in high winds had resulted in a go-around.

The Inter-State Aviation Committee investigating the crash said yesterday that the readout from the plane's flight recorders showed no technical faults in the engine or other elements of the aircraft.
The investigators stopped short of citing any cause of the crash at this stage.
