New sponsors announced for Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016

Al Bateen Executive Airport has said more names have been added to the list of sponsors for Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016.

As an integral part of Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week, Abu Dhabi Air Expo will take place at Al Bateen Executive Airport from 8-10 March 2016. 

The show will also have two new features this year. These are the Abu Dhabi Heli Expo, which will showcase what is new in the helicopter industry; and the Middle East Aviation Career Conference (MEAC), which will provide a unique platform for industry partners to discuss challenges and opportunities for aviation professionals and leaders. This conference is being officially sponsored by AMMROC the Advanced Military Maintenance Repair Overhaul Center and the global leader in military MRO. 

The Department of Transport (DoT) comes on board as the official transportation sponsor. DoT is responsible for regulating, planning and developing an efficient and well-integrated national transportation system. 

Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL), the Abu Dhabi based subsidiary of the Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC) and a provider of world-class aerospace services and products, has also confirmed its participation as a Gold Sponsor. 

Sky Prime Aviation Services from Saudi Arabia, the providers of aircraft management, charter flights, maintenance and technical support, aviation project management, ground support services and aviation consultancy, has also signed on as a Gold Sponsor. 

The National Search and Rescue Center, which falls under the umbrella of The Supreme Council for National Security with the objective of providing search and rescue services, as well as executing the United Arab Emirates policy regarding necessary procedures to conduct and manage related processes, signed as Air Expo 2016 Silver Sponsor. 

Bayanat, the commercial spinoff of the UAE Armed Forces' Military Survey Department (MSD) owned by Mubadala and a subsidiary of Emirates Defence Industries Company (EDIC), has come on board as the water station sponsor. 

Etisalat, the UAE based multinational telecommunications services provider, which operates in 15 countries across Asia and the MENA region, has signed up as the exclusive telecom operator of the event. 

Also Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) with its commitment to private, corporate and commercial banking and property will be Air Expo’s official bank. 

Al Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino trucks and Toyota Material Handling equipment in the UAE will be the exclusive car sponsor of the event. 

Mawgif is the media center and platinum car park sponsor during Air Expo 2016. Mawgif is the national parking company of Saudi Arabia, headquartered in Jeddah with operations in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
