A memorandum of understanding (MoU) is being developed following months of discussions between CSI and ADA.

An ADA statement said this was an excellent opportunity for the aviation industry in the Middle East to become more competitive and reduce costs while increasing overall quality of services.

The two companies say that this consortium is the “ideal solution for small to medium size aviation companies and aircraft owners to increase their leverage with suppliers and service providers”.

They added: “We welcome all members of the aviation industry and aircraft owners in the Middle East to join the consortium and contribute to its success.”

Tayaran is set to create leverage for small and medium-sized aviation companies and aircraft owners negotiating insurance premiums and terms, in addition to enabling them to possess the purchasing power for ground services that only large airline companies can command.
