Under this agreement, Rockwell Collins  grants the MRO network – specifically ADAT and SR Technics - access to its spares, services and support around the globe.

Rockwell Collins provides the 787 Dreamliner’s flight deck displays, crew alerting system, pilot controls, communication and surveillance systems, and common data network. The company will guarantee a seamless global availability of spares through the supply and maintenance of these systems to SR Technics and ADAT.

This deal will strengthen the Abu Dhabi investment business’s capability to deliver integrated solutions for new generation aircraft, combining in-house technical expertise and capabilities with technical support for training, engineering, trouble-shooting and provisioning through strategic partnerships. The combination of OEM product know-how with MRO fulfillment excellence will provide optimal benefits to airline customers.

“This agreement gives Mubadala Aerospace MRO network customers access to proven, comprehensive service and support solutions through our network of more than 80 locations around the globe. It will enable both parties to leverage economies of scale by maximizing the use of their global inventory,” said Thierry Tosi, Vice President and General Manager, Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins.

James Stewart, Group CEO of the Mubadala Aerospace MRO network, added: "This agreement is an important milestone for the MRO network towards adopting an integrator role that goes beyond traditional MRO services. Our aim is to provide complete aero-solutions packages to the airline industry in the future, and we are looking forward to growing our relationship with Rockwell Collins.”
