These contracts include regular customers reaffirming their loyalty to the company, as well as 45 new customers being added to the company’s database.

The company has 30 different engine models in its MRO portfolio, with the majority of orders in the past year being for V2500 and CFM56 engine maintenance.

“With our team and our capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to meet current and future requirements in the commercial engine MRO market. We analyze customer expectations very carefully and offer service solutions geared to their specific needs, to better jointly leverage business potential with them,” said Michael Schreyögg, Chief Program Officer at MTU Aero Engines.

MTU Maintenance is given its edge by working closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and by investing in new engine development programmes.

The company expanded its service last year by adding asset and material management service, to provide customers with integrated and tailor made solutions to get the maximum impact from their engines.
