He has been acting president/CEO since October but now the RJ board –chaired by Suleiman Al Hafez – has made the appointment permanent.
At the board meeting Hafez conveyed the board’s trust in Captain Misto’s capability to lead the airline in the coming period, in addition to his competency to implement the company’s strategic plan to enable it to overcome the challenges ahead.
He called upon all RJ staff members to extend all support and cooperation to Captain Misto, to work as one team, putting their expertise and distinguished performance in the service of RJ and, thus, placing the company in the position that befits it as the national carrier of Jordan. Hafez stressed that Royal Jordanian has a key role in serving the country in the economic, tourism and social fields.
