Malaysian Airlines appoints new GM for the Gulf

Malaysia Airlines has announced the appointment of Mr. Nur Shaffik Haris as General Manager – UAE & Gulf, tasked to spearhead expansion of the airline's foothold in the growing Gulf region.

A 16-year veteran of Malaysia Airlines, Shaffik’s previous appointment was as GM West India where he was based in Mumbai. Prior postings include being Area Manager Bangladesh and various administration support functions which have built up Shaffik’s wealth of expertise of the aviation sector. 
 
Shaffik holds an Honours degree in Commerce from Australia and is an accredited CPA.
