Duties / Responsibilities             
• Ensure all conditions of the GACA 145 Licence are fulfilled and operated in
line with regulations;
• Ensure the safety/airworthiness and availability of aircraft through leading,
developing, implementing and supervising a cost-effective planned maintenance
schedule in line with manufacturers maintenance requirements, responding
positively and promptly to changes in customer flight arrangements within allowed
limits;
• Promote customer satisfaction and cost-effective performance in line with
quality standards by specifying, directing and supervising maintenance work
undertaken by internal or Third Parties in accordance with approved procedures;
• Negotiate and establish cost-effective contracts with approved Third Party
suppliers internationally to supply effective maintenance services as specified;
• Quality-assure work by establishing, communicating and maintaining up-to date
technical/maintenance policies/procedures and manuals;
• Ensure the effective and prompt resolution of technical issues by providing
expert technical maintenance advice as and when required;
• Establish and operate effective maintenance billing and payment processes for
customers in collaboration with Finance to optimise cash flow and recover;
• Ensure a periodic employee performance appraisal to maintenance staff;
• Assign maintenance representative for aircraft schedule maintenance at Thirdparty;
• Select, direct, develop & motivate maintenance staff to deliver the highest levels
of professional performance, further build their capabilities and achieve established
objectives, targets and standards;
               
Job purpose        
Responsible for the success of the overall organisation's strategy and enhance it's reputation/standing in the market by ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft and optimising their availability to meet the requirements of customers, contract obligations and Licence regulations through the provision of comprehensive and cost-effective maintenance services;

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:  
- 10 + years experience in an aviation maintenance role
- 4 years must be within a management post                      - A & P License is required
- Experience on Airbus aircrafts an advantage
