Kuwait Aviation Show to take place in January 2017

The Kuwait Aviation Show organising committee has announced the first show of its kind in Kuwait from January 23-26, 2017 at Kuwait International Airport.

Head of the organising committee Ahmed Ismail Behbehani issued a press statement announcing the Aviation Show will host a high level of participation by both local and international companies in the field of aviation combining both civil and military aircraft manufacturers, private jets, medical air ambulance,  helicopters, and supporting equipment manufacturers including jet engine manufacturers, navigation equipment, and products and services that serve both commercial and military aviation. The show will display the latest in air defense equipment as well as airport equipment that will cater to passenger convenience for the new era in Kuwait’s aviation endeavors. 

He added that the global aviation market is a promising market at a steady growth and that private aviation is at a faster growth with the development of the regional aviation services it is expected that the GCC private aviation sector will pose as one of the worlds most lucrative and important focal points on a global scale. 

Behbehani continued that Kuwait pioneered the regional aviation market and that its current aggressive ambitions position it at the pinnacle of developing sectors in the region. When considering the global aviation economy, reports state that Kuwait is nominated to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the regions expansive growth expecting to attract more than 237 million travellers annually making Kuwait a lucrative area that will be able to capture some of this traffic. 

With the open sky policy in full force, the regional privatisation and private carriers catering to the regional market have catapulted the demand for aircraft and all of their supporting services to an unprecedented level making this show a valuable addition to the growth of the local industry. 

It is expected that Kuwait Aviation Show will parallel global aviation show standards and become a reputable name in the International Aviation Show market.
