Kevin L. Hiatt, FRAeS to open Gulf Aviation Training Event in November

Attendees at the Gulf Aviation Training Event in November will benefit from a keynote speaker with over four decades of aviation experience leading discussions regarding the future of aviation training in the region. Kevin L. Hiatt, FRAeS, will draw on his extensive legacy as both a pilot and as Senior Vice President of Safety and Flight Operations at IATA to ensure the attendees gain maximum value from the conference.

A graduate of Purdue University’s Professional Pilot Aviation Technology program, Hiatt is the recipient of several Aviation Safety Awards including the Flight Safety Foundation’s President’s Award, the SAFE Industry’s General Spruance award for outstanding safety education program, and the Aircraft Firefighting International Working Group outstanding contribution to aviation fire safety.

Attendees at the two-day event will gain insight and share knowledge on topics ranging from human factors vs automation to pilot training and predicted pilot shortages, while gaining perspective on emerging trends with panel debates chaired by industry leaders such as Ken Gile, Chief Operating Officer of flydubai, Capt. Ed Davidson, President & COO of National Airlines and Victor Brandão, general manager, Alpha Aviation Academy among others.
